Great Lakes Contracting, Inc. located in Grand Haven, MI is a custom steel fabricator founded on hard work and a drive to provide quality, safe projects to our customers.

Raymond Buikema – owner of Great Lakes Contracting, Inc. – began with the company in the early 1980's as a laborer.  Ray continued with the company traveling throughout the Great Lakes states learning the petroleum piping industry working his way up to a certified pipe welder and crew foreman.  In 1996, Ray was offered a piece of the pie and became a partner in the company eventually buying out the retiring partners and is now sole owner.
